SEBRING, Fla. (Wednesday, October 08, 2025) -- AdventHealth Sebring’s Internal Medicine Residency Clinic has officially relocated to a larger space, making it even easier to provide compassionate, whole-person care to more patients in our community, while helping to train the next generation of healers.
The clinic has moved to a new location at 4421 Sun N Lake Boulevard, Suite B in Sebring. The facility features 16 exam rooms, more than triple its previous location had, allowing providers to treat and care for even more patients.
The practice is an integral part of AdventHealth Sebring’s Internal Medicine Residency program, which has 31 resident physicians currently in medical training that equips them to become independent physicians in their chosen specialty. The residents have the opportunity to work closely with attending physicians across all specialties and immerse themselves in AdventHealth’s whole-person care model, with residents guiding patients toward total wellness – mind, body, and spirit.
“At our Internal Medicine residency program, every patient benefits from the compassionate care of our dedicated resident physicians, paired with the expertise of our talented and knowledgeable attending doctors,” said Dr. Thomas Shimshak, Director of the AdventHealth Sebring Internal Medicine Residency Program. “Our entire team takes immense pride in going above and beyond to ensure each visit is not only thorough but also leaves our patients feeling truly cared for and whole.”
