Bok Tower Gardens Selects Miles Arnott as Next President and CEO
| LAKE WALES, Fla. — Bok Tower Gardens today announced that Miles Arnott has been selected as its next President and Chief Executive Officer following a nationwide search. Arnott will begin his new role on July 6, 2026, guiding the National Historic Landmark into its next chapter of growth and stewardship. Arnott brings more than 20 years of experience in public garden leadership, horticulture, conservation, environmental stewardship, education, and nonprofit management. He currently serves as Vice President of Horticulture and Conservation at Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, where he oversees the institution’s cultivated and natural landscapes, directs horticultural development and maintenance of its renowned sculpture gardens, and leads environmental stewardship efforts across its significant natural areas. Prior to joining Brookgreen Gardens, Arnott served as Executive Director of Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve in Pennsylvania and held leadership positions with Callaway Gardens in Georgia and the Audubon Nature Institute in New Orleans. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Environmental Studies and a Master of Science degree in Botany and Plant Ecology. “Following an extensive national search, we are thrilled to welcome Miles Arnott as the next President and CEO of Bok Tower Gardens,” said Joshua C. As President and CEO, Arnott will oversee all aspects of Bok Tower Gardens’ operations, strategic planning, conservation and horticultural initiatives, educational programming, visitor experience, and philanthropic efforts.
