Lights for Life: A Community Gathering to Honor and Celebrate Life

Lake Wales Care Center invites the community to join in a special evening of remembrance and celebration at Lights for Life on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 6:30 PM by the basketball courts at Lake Wailes Lake.

This meaningful event honors all life — from conception to final breath — with hundreds of glowing luminary bags lighting the lakefront as symbols of love, remembrance, and hope.
Community members are invited to purchase luminary bags in honor or in memory of loved ones. Each decorated bag will join the display at Lights for Life, creating a powerful visual reminder of the beauty and value of every life.

How to Participate:

• Purchase a Luminary Bag: Dedicate a bag in honor or memory of someone special. Bags may be purchased online at: https://secure.qgiv.com/for/lightforlife/event/lightsforlife2025/
• Join Us at the Event: Come enjoy inspiring testimonies, music from the Lake Wales High School Choir, and a time of reflection together as a community.
• Support the Mission: Proceeds from the event benefit Lake Wales Care Center programs including Meals on Wheels, transitional housing, job training, and family support services.
