Webber International University to Host Polk County Schools Ballot Initiative Presentation

BABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International University will host an informational community presentation featuring Polk County Public Schools Superintendent Fred Heid on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The presentation will provide information about the proposed 1.0 millage increase appearing on the November 3 ballot and what the initiative could mean for Polk County schools.
